MOMOS :Do you love momos? Naaahhhhh! We don’t only love MOMOS, but, Momos are such an emotions that everyone loves them! Isn’t it?there are several variety of momos like veg momo,non-veg momo,gravy momo,tandoori momo .But, Do we know a kind of chapter of momos, that is,their origination, history, their production and many more is here! Let’s have a look over it!

HISTORY –The etymology of word mainly points to northern China, but the food is mainly spreaded by routes, which connects Central Asia steppe to east and west. Momo like filled with dumplings, exists in Persian, Turkish, Mongolian.

But, across the Himalayan range, the dish is spreaded from Tibet along with the influx of the Tibetan diaspora. Since, this was popularly known among the Newar community of the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. Usually, the filling in momos at that time was of yak, as the scarcity of vegetables in Tibetan areas. But after that, they came in India because of the trade, then they come to know about the vegetables, and further filling of momos was modified with Vegetables….
